This section explains how to set up connectors to retrieve data and map them to attributes.

The Connectors section covers the setup and management of various connectors to retrieve data from different sources and transfer it to IIH Essentials. It explains how to view and interpret the status of configured connectors, add new connectors through automatic detection or manual addition, and configure common Databus settings for multiple connectors. It also provides detailed information on different types of connectors, including Connectivity Suite, MQTT, and HMIRuntime connectors, as well as specific details about the System Info Connector and the metrics it provides.

Additionally, the Mapping Tags section focuses on the methods and tools available for mapping tags to attributes within IIH Essentials. It includes instructions on how to directly configure a mapped tag for an attribute, use the tag sidebar for quick and efficient mapping of tags, and utilize transformations to manipulate or combine data from tags before storing them in attributes. This includes an overview of the transformation syntax, supported operators, and examples.
