What's new in IIH Essentials V1.7?

Bulk API
In order to reduce the request overhead and improve error resilience, bulk APIs were added. By adding "/bulk" in the API route, you can create several objects (aspects, assets or variables) simultaneously.
A maximum of 100 objects per request is permitted.
Encrypted backup
A passphrase can be set to encrypt the backup using the AES-256 algorithm. The backup can only be read and restored with the same passphrase. If the passphrase is lost, the backup cannot be decrypted.
Data synchronization
The model and time series data can be synchronized to external systems, e.g. clouds. The new “Data Destinations” tab allows you to configure connections to external systems. Once defined, synchronizations can be configured for assets, aspects, variables, and aggregations. In IIH Essentials V1.7, Insights Hub is available as a data destination.
Insights Hub sync
The model and data can be synchronized to one or multiple Insights Hub tenants.
After IIH Essentials has been onboarded as an MQTT-agent, the model and the data will be synchronized to the corresponding agent-asset. Later changes in the IIH Essentials will be reflected in the Insights Hub tenant, too.
