IIH: migration to integrated mode

Automatic migration from IIH Essentials standalone mode to integrated mode is supported. Switching to integrated mode preserves the already configured data. After IIH Common Configurator and IIH Core have been installed, the integrated mode can be activated. No further steps are required.

Full API support in integrated mode

All APIs of IIH Essentials are working in both modes, standalone and IIH.

Apps using APIs to modify the model now function with IIH Essentials in integrated mode. Previously, in version 1.4, only standalone mode was supported.

Full-screen view for user interface dialogs

The configuration of assets, aspects and variables has been improved by combining all configurations of each of these objects in a full-screen view. Now you can find all configurations for this object in one place.

Enabling/disabling a variable

A variable can be disabled temporarily, i.e. data is no longer stored, without having to delete the variable configuration. Each variable has a check box that indicates whether it is currently storing new values. In Integrated Mode, this is directly linked to the archive flag of the Common Configurator.

Browsing HMI runtime adapter

Similar to other connectors, the "HMI runtime" connector can be browsed as well.

-> No need to manually type in connection information
